Writer. Communicator. Auntie. Climate and Biodiversity Advocate.
I explore science, environment, people and communities and the messy, curious places where they all come together.
Tina Portman
Writer, advocate for climate and biodiversity solutions
All-in on being part of the movement to find solutions to prevent climate breakdown and an impending biodiversity crash.
I have a B.Sc. in biochemistry and an M.Sc. in biology. I write, and talk and share the science behind our current crises and how we might fix them. I live in a small town in northern BC and as a member of that community and as a Canadian, I’m an active participant in finding solutions so today’s toddlers can inherit a healthy planet.
We’re in this together, folks.
